This is a great toy, my 18 month old loves it. Great for little fingers, and more sophisticated than baby toys. Only suggestion I can make is to go on the fisher price direct website, and buy it there... cheaper, and so are the accessories. Shipping is relatively small, and only $40. Plus the accessory rooms are MUCH cheaper than I've found anywhere (esp on Amazon). [...]

This is the second of this doll house I have purchased. The first was for my daughter when she was 17 months for christmas. She is now 28 months and still plays with it regularly. The one I just bought is for a christmas present for a 20 month old who always loves to play with it when she comes over. (Her twin brother does too :)) If you are looking between this one and the Little People house I would sway you to this one because it feels more like a dollhouse than just the same old Little People stuff.

This set is ok. I suggest buying the larger FP dollhouse though. Little girls grow out of this set and are ready for more details and a nicer dollhouse by the time they are two and a half. I say go with the Loving Family Dollhouse and don't waste the money on this pre-dollhouse set. They will grow into the Loving Family dollhouse.

Bought this for my (at the time) 2 yr old and she loved it! The chunky little people were easy to handle for her. She still plays with it now, at 4 sometimes. We will be passing it on to our 11 month old when she turns 2.

I purchased this toy for my daugther's 2nd birthday and she has played with it everyday for a month. I would highly recommend this toy. She will literally sit and play by herself for up to an hour. Some days she doesn't want to leave the house b/c she wants to play with the dollhouse. The people are the perfect size and easy to handle. I toyed with the idea of getting the more expensive dollhouse and letting her grow into it but I'm glad I didn't. This one is the perfect size and she knows exactly how to play with it. I love seeing her use her imagination! She incorporates other toys (weebles, little people, cars) that she didn't really play with before while playing with this toy.
