My son loves this car, but beware:

- the wheels are cheap and noisy. It sounds terrible in a parking lot. IMHO, it'd be worth spending $20 extra to get the rubber wheeled version.

- it is sort of a pain to put together.

Otherwise, my son, now 14 months, loves this toy. He loves to sit in it, ride in it, push it, put stuff in the compartment.

"Better Than the Chicco Car - My 9 Month-Old LOVES It!" 2009-12-31

We were visiting someone in the children's hospital which is where we first saw this toy - my daughter really seemed to enjoy being pushed around in it so we decided to buy her one for Christmas. Hands down it's her most favorite thing to do now! It's too cold to take it outside now, so my husband and I push her around the house and she smiles and laughs! She could probably do this all day long!

We had initially bought her a different car, the Chicco 4 in 1 Ride On car, which we thought might be better because it changed from a rocker to a self-push car for when she's older. But, in fact she didn't like it very much. I think part of it was that the seat was so wide that it forced her legs to spread out and it wasn't comfortable. She never wanted to be on it, so we returned it to the store. This Step 2 car is very comfortable for her.

This toy is fun for my 20 months boy, he enjoys the ride and rotating the steering wheel. I found a drawback in this toy that the steering wheel is not very free, its hard for him to rotate it and so he looses interest. I removed the lock in the wheel and now it is free but also comes out all the way. In all it is good for in doors but not for out door moving as the wheels are of plastic and will not sustain the rough surfaces.

 "Push Around Buggy Review" 2009-12-29
By S. Hoppe (Hattiesburg, MS)
When our granddaughter (7 mo) had to go to the hospital for surgery, the Children's Hospital had a push around buggy on the children's floor. Our granddaughter loved to go for rides around the big hallway. When we stopped she would wiggle around in the buggy to make to go again. When she came home, I ordered one of these buggies for her. Everytime she sees the buggy she gets excited and wants to go for a ride. I don't see the educational value of the product, but I certainly did see the entertainment value. Saralina, our granddaughter, loves the buggy. She is too small to beep the horn, but she does love the ride and the steering wheel.

The product was inexpensive ($35) and provided hours of entertainment. If you went out for dinner, you could spend that much money per person, and not get as much enjoyment out of the product. It was entertainment value for us, the grandparents, and the parents, too. Value is perception, and we perceived it to be a great toy.

 "Fun Toy Car" 2009-12-26

I ordered this buggy off of Amazon for my son's first birthday and we've used it a couple times since, around the neighborhood. He really enjoys riding around and pushing at all the little stickers.

There are two issues I have with:

1) I need to make sure that his feet are in the car, because they could easily get caught under while I'm pushing the buggy. It's almost happened a couple times, so it's a good idea to not push the buggy around too quickly.

2) We have a smaller car (Honda Accord) and since the handle doesn't fold down on this one, it's a bit hard to take the buggy anywhere outside of our neighborhood.

Other than that, we're loving the buggy!
